Best Modern Rock Band
Second - Mico was incredible! Their music, vocals, and lyrics speak for themselves. I would be happy seeing them on a stage with no props, no lights, no giant creepy skull android. They never disappoint live, and this show was their most ambitious yet. But add in all those extra elements, and the show is a sensation. I'm also a huge Queen fan and believe that if Queen was making new music today, they'd be Mico (instead of touring their incredible catalog with superb frontman Adam Lambert).
First off - The Forum gets no stars. It's impossible to get to (traffic even hours before showtime). Why didn't that relatively recent renovation include an LA Live type environment with restaurants, highrise parking, etc.? Parking is horrible (entering and leaving the lot), bathrooms require walking down (and up) stairs, food options are limited. The worst venue in LA.
